3 Ways to Generate More Leads on Social Media for Real Estate AgentsMar 22, 2021
This one is for all our real estate peeps! Let's face it, when it comes to real estate, you rely on your leads list which should be ever growing. Where so many agents get it wrong is not using their social media to generate leads as well. You can create a professional and person social media that shows you're the go-to in the area. We're sharing with you some of our favorite tips to generate more leads through your social media.
1. Use Clubhouse to Build Connections
If you haven't heard about the newest social app Clubhouse, you seriously need to hop on! It is a voice-only app that is a combo of a conference with a podcast. The great thing is it allows professionals to network with other professionals as well as potential clients. We've personally never had our inbox full of so many warm to hot leads consistently! The only thing is it is in beta form and you need an invite onto the app. If you can, get the invite ASAP and start to network. You'll be able to meet so many people who are either want to do business together or hire you.
2. Freebie to Sequence with Potential Buyers & Sellers
Building out our contact list is essential to the life of your business. Your Rolodex is everything! But if you capture the contact information of people who are ACTUALLY looking, you can create a freebie. A freebie is great because it gives your followers a chance to raise their hand and give them a, "Looking for a home," sticker on their forehead.
You can do this a few different ways as well and for different prospects (i.e. buyers, sellers, other agents, etc.). What you do is have a freebie of something that is SUPER valuable to them. Have them sign up for it with their email and phone number (for SMS texting) and you can lead them into an email sequence. In this sequence, you give them 3-5 emails with even more value around the topic of the freebie. Once the sequence is over, you give them a call to action. Something like, "Ready to sell your home? Click the link below to book a complimentary call to start the process!" This gives this group of people to raise their hand again, letting you know they trust you enough to work with you.
3. Map Out Your Client's Journey
The last thing to remember is the journey in real estate is definitely intimidating to someone who is not involved in the industry. Use this opportunity to create a journey people can walk through with your content. This is where you see the most significant growth is when you tell a story or take people on a journey. Show them what it looks like to go through the process of selling or buying a home. Maybe share helpful tips along the way, something other agents won't do or tell them. Let them know they are in safe hands with you because not only are you super knowledgeable, you are also someone they can trust.
