How to Use Tailwind to 10X Your Pinterest Growth

If you want to know one of the main reasons that we were able to grow to over 1M impressions ORGANICALLY in less than 3 months, it has to be Tailwind. The first part of Tailwind we utilized immediately was the communities portion. Think Facebook Groups but on steroids, because the people in Tailwind communities are A LOT more active. Communities are a great place not only for you to share your original content, therefore gaining more exposure, but it is also a great place to find OTHER trending content from other people, that you can then re-pin to your own Pinterest boards.
You can be a part of up to 5 communities, just make sure that when you're choosing what communities to be a part of, that they match or are complementary to your niche or whatever product/service you offer. You want to make sure that the engagement you're getting is the engagement you want.
The second reason we love Tailwind is the fact that it has a Google Chrome extension. Now you might be wondering: okay Michael, but why is this such a big deal? It's a big deal because the easier it is to pin content, the more you can do it at scale.
What the Chrome extension does is it now makes any content you find ANYWHERE, pinnable in two easy clicks onto our Tailwind dashboard. How great is that?! Now if you come across content ANYWHERE on the internet, you can now share it to your Pinterest profile with ease.
This leads me to the third point, which is Tailwind simply makes it easier to pin content at scale. And that is important because Pinterest wants you to PIN a TON of content every single day. According to Pinterests' best practices, they want you to pin anywhere from 30-35 times a day!
Can you imagine having to try and schedule all that content directly on Pinterest? I can't either, which is why Tailwind is so great! Not only can you create your content RIGHT in Tailwind, but finding curated content to add to your boards is so much easier now with Communities and the Chrome extension!
This leads me to my fourth point, which is Tailwind guides you in making sure that your Pinterest account is optimized every single step of the way. They let you know how much you should post, what times, what content is doing well, which isn't, and so much more!
