3 Ways to Use the NEW Link Feature On ClubhouseNov 24, 2021
It's official: you can now link a URL for your Clubhouse rooms! This has led people to ask the question: what are the most effective ways to use the linking feature to help me grow my business?
So today, I want to give you the top 3 ways that we've used the NEW link feature to help us network, as well as grow our business!

The first way is to put a FREE resource that either adds an extra layer to what it is you're talking about or is something you can give away that compliments what you are talking about.
For example, if we were talking about the best social media strategies during the holiday season, we might link a blog we write that's the, "10 best types of posts to use on your IG during Christmas." It makes sense and adds more value on top of the discussion we are already having.
If we wanted to link something that complimented that discussion, we might add a YouTube video we do of how to run holiday deals through Pinterest. The point is to make sure that you're linking something that will make sense to the people coming into your room. This will increase your conversion rate tremendously!
The second thing you can do is let other mods link a FREE resource that they have. This is a great way to get quality mods to come into your room because you can offer them the opportunity to plug into your audience and offer something they have of value. It truly is a win-win.
The best way to do this is to plan everything ahead of time. Pick a topic, and let your mods switch out every "x" amount of the time the link, that way each of the mods you have gets to use the link to promote a resource that they have!
The last way you can use the link is to sell a product or service. I, personally, wouldn't use it for this, but I know some people will ask, and you can in fact use it for this IF you want to. The reason I wouldn't use the link to sell is that that is what people are expecting you to do. So when they come into your room and see you selling, it will be a HUGE turn-off.
If you're going to use it to sell, make it some sort of deal, or something that is a lower ticket item. I've seen people trying to sell $597 courses and thousand-dollar programs. Might it work? Sure, for a few times. However, what you're going to do in the long-term is turn people off because all they'll think you're trying to do is sell them every time you start a room.
Don't be that person! Lead with value first, and people will be left wanting more!
